Sunshine Week – celebrated in March each year – is a non-partisan, good-government effort led by the American Society of Newspaper Editors. The campaign's message is aimed beyond those in print, broadcast and online news media. Its constituency also includes students; federal, state and local lawmakers, both conservative and liberal; think tanks and non-profits; civic groups; librarians; even religious leaders.
